Bienvenue! That is to say “Welcome”. The northeast corner of Louisiana is currently my home and has been for well over 40 years. This is an agricultural area where cotton used to be king, but now corn, soybeans and rice seem to be the most common crops, with some cotton fields still seen.
Many years ago, when I first came to Louisiana, my pre-conceived notions of this state included the thought that there was no solid ground anywhere, that it looked like this everywhere:
By way of introduction, my name is Linda. I have been married for 47 years to the same man and am the mother of 2 grown children. My only grandchild is recently married and she will be graduating from college in the spring of 2016.
